  A major upgrade is in progress on the EmCom / EmBurst Network. This forms part of improving the present service.

While every effort is made to do the upgrade without "hiccups", "gremlins" may crop up.

Kindly report any issues via SMS to 076 984 9751

It may be necessary for subscribers to change their outgoing server address, in order to send e-mail.

At present you may be using smtp.isdsl.net. A new mail server is being commissioned so please check back regularly.

If your email account is with emburst, change the SMTP server to mail.emburst.co.za

If your email account is with emcom, change the SMTP server to mail.emcom.za.net

The above may change when the new mail servers are commissioned.

Remember :if you are not using the emcom or emburst servers, you may have to to enable "my server requires authentication" and click on to "use same settings as my incoming mail server", or log onto incoming mail server first. PS make sure you have an internet connection before testing.

If your e-mail account is elsewhere, eg myname@mweb.co.za then use their smtp server, and in the authentication tab, click, log into incoming mail server first. Click on any of the 3 links above for assistance, or simply google it for more help guides. E&OE
